ci: run the mneme-memory cross-package parity lock - #397
Conversation
test/mcp-package.test.js lives in the repo root, and the root has no package.json since the v0.7.x orchestration shell was deleted, so the npm test glob (dsh-mneme/test/*.test.js) never reaches it. The header of mcp/bin/mneme-mcp.mjs advertises this lock as the drift guard for the standalone package, but it has not been executing in CI — tools.js could change while mneme-memory silently stayed behind. Runs on one representative shard only: the check is a text/schema comparison, independent of OS and Node version.

Problem
test/mcp-package.test.js(the cross-package parity lock that keepsmneme-memory'sMCP_TOOLSverbatim-aligned with the plugin'ssrc/tools.js) lives in the repo root, and the root has had nopackage.jsonsince the v0.7.x orchestration shell was deleted. CI'snpm testruns insidedsh-mneme/with the globtest/*.test.js, so it never reaches the root file — the guard advertised inmcp/bin/mneme-mcp.mjs's header ("漂移即红") has not actually been running.src/tools.jschanged five times since the package was split out; it happened to stay aligned, but nothing was enforcing that.Change
node --test test/mcp-package.test.jsfrom the repo root, afternpm ci+npm test.ubuntu-latest+ Node 24): the check is a schema/text comparison, independent of OS and Node version.Verification
dsh-mneme/node_modulespresent (same as CI afternpm ci): 3/3 pass, includingparity: mneme-memory MCP_TOOLS stay verbatim-aligned with plugin src/tools.js.ERR_MODULE_NOT_FOUND: @deepseek-ai/dsh-tools— expected, and why the step must sit after the install step rather than in a standalone job.Paired with #397 (the package README states this lock runs in CI; that sentence only becomes true once this merges).
