Enable distribution through
brew install polarsource/tap/polar. Stable tagged releases generate a formula from their checksums and open an update PR inpolarsource/homebrew-tap; maintainers merge that PR to publish the version. A manual workflow supports retries. Draft releases and prerelease tags are excluded.polar updaterecommendsbrew upgrade polarsource/tap/polarbefore downloading, replacing binaries, or clearing authentication; background GitHub update checks are skipped.Activation: Create the public
polarsource/homebrew-taprepository with an initial commit and configureHOMEBREW_TAP_TOKENwith scoped Contents and Pull requests write access before the first release. Publish a new release containing the updater guard, then merge its generated tap PR. Full setup and retry instructions are indocs/homebrew.md.Validation:
bun run typecheck; all 28 tests passed;actionlintpassed for all workflows; generated a formula from the published v2.0.0 checksums and successfully installed/tested it on macOS arm64 with Homebrew style and strict audit passing. macOS/Linux GitHub Actions checks will run on this PR. Cross-repository publishing requires the activation setup above and has not been run.
