IT Operations and Networking · Computer Systems student at CUNY City Tech · Queens, NY
I build and document real infrastructure: virtualization, DNS, reverse proxies, internal TLS, and monitoring that alerts me when something breaks. Before IT, I spent nearly five years in telecom at T-Mobile troubleshooting devices and connectivity for customers every day, so I'm comfortable explaining technical problems to people who just need them fixed.
- 🎓 BTech in Computer Systems, IT Operations track, CUNY New York City College of Technology (expected May 2027)
- 🎓 AAS in Computer Information Systems, City Tech (2025)
- 📜 CompTIA A+ certified · CCNA in progress (target January 2027)
- 🗣️ Bilingual: English and Spanish
- 💼 Open to IT internships and entry level roles: help desk, desktop support, NOC, junior sysadmin
⭐ Featured: Homelab
A Proxmox VE lab on a Dell OptiPlex running the services a small IT department would: Pi-hole for DNS, Nginx Proxy Manager as a reverse proxy, a private mkcert certificate authority for internal HTTPS, Uptime Kuma monitoring with Discord alerts, and scheduled backups. The repo includes a network diagram and a troubleshooting log of real outages, what caused them, and how I fixed them.
| Project | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Active Directory Lab | Domain controller built in Hyper-V with AD DS, DNS, and DHCP; domain joined client, OUs, and Group Policy |
| Network Topology Lab | Multi subnet network in Cisco Packet Tracer with VLANs, inter VLAN routing, and OSPF/RIP |
| Wireshark Traffic Analysis | Packet captures and analysis with Wireshark, tcpdump, and Nmap |
| Apache Web Server on AWS | Apache on an AWS EC2 Ubuntu instance with a virtual host, custom 404 page, mod_rewrite, and access logging |
| Python Scripts | Automation I actually use: file organizer, startup launcher, subnet calculator |
Android apps in Java: Compass · Stopwatch · Shake · Billiards · BeeFlowers · Fibonacci
