Python exposed logging options, but architecture checks did not emit diagnostics. This connects file, layer, slice, and metric checks to isolated per-check sessions with debug/info/warn/error filtering, console or UTF-8 file output, timing, graph/cache inspection, selector and projection decisions, metric values, and violation details.
Diagnostics are disabled by default and use existing computed values. Output failures do not replace rule results or analysis exceptions, and nested/concurrent checks keep separate sessions. Formatted assertion reports gain optional terminal colors while retaining existing plain text and supporting NO_COLOR/CI/non-interactive output. The README includes verbosity, file logging, pytest, and report examples.
Validation: 322 tests passed locally; ruff and strict mypy passed; release metadata is synchronized; isolated sdist/wheel build passed. Regression coverage includes logging-level/result equivalence, sink failures, session isolation, callback counts, optional user properties, and color/plain-text equivalence. Hosted CI covers supported Python 3.10–3.13 and package builds. Release remains gated on green CI through the existing main-branch publishing workflow.
