Hi, I'm Nelson 👋

2nd-year CS student focused on backend development and workflow efficiency. Also into Linux, homelabbing, and AI.

Projects

Currently building an API and clients to make searching for classes @ HCC easier — repo coming soon. Other public work:

  • portfolio: My personal site, live at hefker.dev — a static Astro + Tailwind + daisyUI build deployed on Cloudflare Pages.
  • nixos-config: My system config built on NixOS, a Linux distro focused on reproducibility. Ports every program and setting to a new machine in minutes.
  • dots: Dotfiles — settings for the programs I live in: editor, browser, terminal, and shell.
