bugfixing available features

canvas UI changes

there are a couple of fornac-inherited UI behaviors that should be replaced

the targeted list of canvas-UI features is

mouse wheel operations

• zoom via CTRL+mousewheel
• vertical drag/shift via mousewheel
• horizontal drag/shift via SHIFT+mousewheel

selection + drag

• click on single node = single node selection
• support for multi-node selection via
  • "click+drag" on background : rectangular selection of enclosed nodes
  • SHIFT+click-on-node = extend current selection (or start a new one if no selection so far)
• "click+drag" on a selected node shifts all selected nodes respectively

optionally

it might also be interesting to allow for additional operations for the selected nodes using keyboard events, similar to other tools. if so, show on selection an info screen with the available options for the selection.

[optional] multi-strand support

currently, varri is constraint to 2 sequences. it might be useful to extend to an arbitrary number, but this typically increases the crossing base pair problem.
